I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest my whole life, and I’m proud to call Washington home. I’m the owner of We Buy PNW Homes, our family-run real estate business.
Most of the calls we take are not about a house that is ready to list. They are about a roof that needs replacing, a probate that has dragged on, tenants who left the place rough, or a move that has to happen by a certain date. Those are the situations we work in most, and not one of them is unusual to us.
So we listen first, look at the property, then tell you what we can pay and how fast we can close. You can read how the whole thing runs before you call, including what happens at the walkthrough. Where we came from
Two dates matter here. One is when our family started buying and fixing houses. The other is when we started buying them straight from the owner.
Brett Phillips began picking up and fixing properties around the Pacific Northwest. The rest of us learned the trade standing next to him on job sites, which is still where most of the learning happens.
Listing was not helping the people calling us most often: a house that needed more repair than they could fund, an inherited property in another state, a rental that had stopped being worth the trouble. So we started writing cash offers ourselves.
